How do Banks Count Our Interest?
Interest is the sum charged for borrowing money for fixed period of time. Principal is the term used for the money that is borrowed, and the rate of interest is the per cent per year of the  principal charged for is use. Most of the profits for a bank are derived from the interest that they charge for use of their own or their depositor’s money.
All problems in internet may be solved by using one general equation that may be stated as follows: interes= Principal x Rate x Time.
Any one of the four quantities – that is interes, principal, rate or time-may be found when the other three are known. The time is expressed in years. The rate is expressed as a decimal fraction. Thus, 6 percent interest means six cents charged for the use of $1 of principal borrowed for one year. Atlthough the time may less that, equal to or greater than one year, most applications for loans are for periods of less than one year. For purposes of computing interest for short periods, the commercial year or 360 money days is commonly used, but when large sums of money are involved, exact interest is computed on the basis of 365 days.

First of all, Notre Dame’s Departement of Sociology produced study in 1998 concering school uniforms. Their findings using 10th grade students showed that uniforms have no direct on subtance abuse, behavioural probelms or attendence
Secondly uniforms help create a strong sense of school ethos and a sense of belonging to a particular community as such uniforms promote discipline and help to drive up academic standards.

In institutions without uniform, students are aften competitive and worry endlessly about their appearance and the clothes they should wear. Pupils without expensively designed clotes and trainers may be singled out as social outcasts, or considered as being from poor backgrounds. For these save their money on buying clothes for school wear.
Considering the findings, schools should implement uniforms as their identity. The government should also publish some kinds of rules which make uniforms compulsory for chools.

Paying for your College

Regarding the current controversy over the new law free universities to charge tution fees is the continung question of whether higher education is a right that should be given to all citizens or a privilege for the few. Those opposing the law on the Legal Entity of Education institutions, edorsed by the House of Representatives last week, believe that attending college is a basic human right, a natural extension of the existing right to a free education for all. Those who support the new law, on the other hand, believe that college is relly the privilege for a few citizents: it is for those who can afford it and for those who have the necesary intelligence and ability to complite the gruesome and often taxing academic experience.
The fact of the matter is that college, or any education for that matter, comes at a price. Nothing is ever free, even as we continue to refer to our “free educations” system. There is a price to play in organizing schools or universities, and somone—if not the students or their parents – have to bear the cost. The concept of free educations refers to the fact that the costs will not be a burden for students or parents or parents, but rether for somone – usually the state.
In Indonesia, the state has the constitutional duty to ensure that every child is able to attend the first 12 years of school for free. Taxpayers collectively pay for this education and not the parents. But the question is wether this state subsidy should be extended to those who pursue higher education. This is something that society should decide, and this is exactly the debate that the House of Representatives went through before enanting the law last week.
State universities that have been the biggest recipients of goverment subsidies will have to become not only financially sustainble but also financially independent. The majority of students must pay the full cost of higher education because they can afford it. A minority, those who have the intergence but are poor, should be given financial assistance.
The message that the new law has sent is that the rules of the game have changed. With all its flaws, the law is still much better – and certainly more fair – than the previous mechanism where subsidies were randomly given and went primarily to those who last deserved it. We are all for inexpensive higher education, but we must also be realistic and make sure that those who can, pay, and those who cannot, shall receive assistance. The challenge for Indonesia is not in making college as inexpensive as posisible, but in making many more places available at an affordable price. The new law will go a long way in meeting this challenge.
